Laksa?
I'm in need of a good, or a few good, Laksa recipes, and if they aren't too terribly difficult, that's even better;) Trying to do at least two vegetarian or one vege and one seafood dish per week. My hubs is anti-tofu but I think if I may something he likes with it, I may be able to convert him.

tofu's really hard to convert....it's just something to do with the texture...perhaps Japanese style agadaeshi?? Deep fried in flour and served in a small sauce of savoury broth?? The outside is crispy and flavourful and inside is soft and silky...
:) Laska...hmmm...i dun make it from scratch cos there's a really good one on the market..Prima Taste i think it's called...really excellent...
I'll check out the agadeshi, although I've never heard of it before.
Sounds like I really missed out not going to this market more often last time I was in Adleiade:/
opps...i think i clarify...the Prima Taste is a ready-made paste...available from Asian grocers... but yeah..central market has quite a few places which serves good lasksa as well! ;P
Ah ok, so you buy a paste and mix it with water/other ingredients?
I read it wrong...reading to fast, and thought I saw 'at the market' rather than 'on the market'. My bad...
yes...here's the link to their official website
I've blogged briefly about it before too..
:)
yes, it's a paste and all of the condiments are included. You just need to buy the yellow noodles, some meat and veggies.
