I need to get a couple of nice non-stick pans when we get back to Adelaide. Any suggestions? I want something that won't wear out in a couple of years;)
I have a new set of Calphalon frying pans that I got for a gift at Christmas. They're great! Nice and thick, about 1/4", and heavy. They take a bit longer to heat up, but cook so nicely and are easy to clean.
Woolies has a new range of non-stick pans. I just picked up a new wok and the non-stick looks like it'll hold up for quite a long time. And it was only 10.99. I truly forget the brand, but I've seen em at all the woolworths lately. I wouldn't use it for deep frying though.
Never seen Calphalon down here, but my dad up in Alaska has had a set for way over a decade. Very expensive...
i got my old one from woolies too..ard 12 bucks..think it's the same one that dave mentioned...it was pretty good...lasted me a year...would have been longer if one of my friend's kids didn't scratch it with a pasta prong..
just bought a tefal 32cm one today from Harris Scarfe...stocktake sale..from 75 to 35....mighty pleased with it and think it comes with a life time guarantee...
That sounds like a great deal. That's really nice of you and sure, I'd love it if you had time, and we could easily transfer $$ to your account. Give me an email at suzer_domenica at yahoo com;)
This food blog was a result of my beginning to cook for two. Things started to turn out decent, which was pleasantly surprising, so I decided to share, and keep an online record of recipes for myself. It has begun to morph into a blog based on recipes gained through travels and exposure to new cultures.
The adventures of an American expat living in Australia with her Aussie husband, looking for tips on yoga centres, people to swap recipes and gardening tips with, and to meet up with other childfree by choicers and/or expats to Adelaide.

Can I get those in Australia;) Also, I think those are very expensive and while I want something good, I don't want to spend an excessive amount.
Thanks:)
