i actually had a friend cook me dinner in her slow cooker on saturday. it's a sunbeam i think, and she's addicted to it - although she's not the most adventurous cook. i'll check with her. what are your criteria? size? versatile cooking speeds?
You know what I have never cooked with one before so I have no idea to be honest. There are only 2 of us at home although we do like to have leftovers on something like that, so while not something huge, a decent size. Thanks for that!
I have a small george foreman slow cooker that I got at Big W in sydney for about 35 bucks. It is smaller so it's the perfect size for the 2 of us but I have used it to cook for up to 5 people (with a little left over).
I posted one of my slow cooker creations on YDU. It is delish and we've got rave reviews from everyone who has tried it.
This food blog was a result of my beginning to cook for two. Things started to turn out decent, which was pleasantly surprising, so I decided to share, and keep an online record of recipes for myself. It has begun to morph into a blog based on recipes gained through travels and exposure to new cultures.
The adventures of an American expat living in Australia with her Aussie husband, looking for tips on yoga centres, people to swap recipes and gardening tips with, and to meet up with other childfree by choicers and/or expats to Adelaide.

My 'mum-in-law' gave me her Sunbeam slow cooker, as she's never used it. I'll be attempting Irish Stew in it tonight:)
